An influential Indian CEO, from Hyderabad, Telangana. Satya Nadella took the responsibility as CEO in the year 2014, after Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer, he became the third CEO in the company’s history. He is an Indian American business executive who has gained popularity with his leadership quality.
Born on 19th August 1967 in a Telugu Hindu family, completed a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Hyderabad. Satya, then went on for his M.S in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Before joining Microsoft, he worked at Sun Microsystems.
Sundar Pichai-CEO, Google
Sundar Pichai hails from Madurai and started his career with Google in the year 2004. Now promoted as CEO of Alphabet, after the stepping down of Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
His strong valour made him win the play and now he is the highest-paid CEO. He did Metallurgical Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur and MBA from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
In 2004, Sundar joined Google as a management executive and in the year 2015, Google officially announced him as the CEO.
Ajaypal Singh Banga- CEO, MasterCard
American Sikh business executive is a President cum CEO of MasterCard. Born in Pune, India has won the civilian honour of Padma Shri in 2016.
Originally, hailing from Jalandhar, Punjab he is now representing more than 300 international companies. He simultaneously conquers to be the member of three board of directors that is Dow Chemical Company, Council on Foreign Relations and World Economic Forum. He is a regular speaker at various conferences.
Dinesh Paliwal- CEO,Harwan
Born in 1957 is an American business executive from Agra, India. He holds an engineering degree from the most prestigious Indian institute- IIT Roorkee. Further pursued his advanced degrees in Engineering and Management from Miami University, Oxford, USA.
Paliwal was recognised as the year’s most influential people in tech, business and media, and Internationally honoured with Distinguished Achievement Award.
Recently in 2019, the Miami board of trustees confab him with an honorary Doctor of Laws degree for his constant efforts and contributions toward his advancement in business, technology, newness and efforts. Currently, Dinesh has walked down acquiring an experience of 13 long years.
Shantanu Narayen-CEO, Adobe
An Indian-born CEO gained popularity with his creative and digital flagship. Completed his Bachelor’s degree from Osmania University and MBA from the University of California he started his career at Apple.
In 1998, Narayen joined Adobe holding the position of senior vice-president of worldwide product research. At a growing age of 45, in November 2007 he was promoted as the CEO of Adobe Inc.
Later in 2018, he was ranked 12 in the list of “Businessperson of the year” and the same year as the ” Global Indian of the Year” by Economic Times of India. And the next year, he was honoured with the Padma Shri award. Thus, he is known as an independent director.
Arvind Krishna – CEO, IBM Group
Indian-Born Arvind Krishna was recently promoted as the Chief Executive Officer of American IT company IBM. Arvind graduated from IIT Kanpur and did PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Before the role of CEO, Arvind Krishna was working as Senior Vice President for Cloud and Cognitive Software at IBM. He has been working with the tech giant for 30 years now.
Jayshree Ullal – CEO, Arista Networks
Jayshree Ullal- born in London and raised in New Delhi, is an American billionaire businesswoman who is the CEO of Arista Networks since 2008.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at San Francisco State University and a master’s in engineering management from Santa Clara University. She began working at Cisco in 1993 after it acquired the communications company where she was employed.
